What Meadow41 is

Meadow41 is a free web index — a running chronicle of websites reviewed and catalogued across 22 chapters. The index currently holds 835 entries, each one submitted and read before being added to the record.

The idea behind the index is simple: a useful reference should reflect what is actually out there. Every chapter in the Meadow41 chronicle covers a distinct area of the web — from healthcare and legal services to travel, technology, and the wide-ranging miscellaneous chapter that catches everything else.

All entries are reviewed individually. We do not use automated scrapers to populate the index — every site in the chronicle was submitted through the form and checked before it was added. This keeps the record clean and the entries current.

If you run a website, you can add it to the relevant chapter for free. There is no fee to submit, no account to create, and no hidden conditions. Fill in the form, choose a chapter, and your site will be reviewed and added if it meets the standard.

Meadow41 does not endorse or rank the sites in its index. A listing here is a record, not a recommendation — the chronicle documents where sites exist, not which ones are best.
